Mercury has quite a bit of sass to him. His posing always comes out quite dramatic. Anyone familiar with smaller ponies knows, he pretty accurately reflects that smaller = sassier effect they have.
Even though he is smaller than his cousin, gunmetal, he has just as much personality!
